| Comment: Married to Mike Barron (CHS class 1965) in 1971. We have a daughter Alissa and a son Matthew, both of whom are married and gave us 3 wonderful grandchildren, with another due in December '17. I graduated from SMU in 1971 and had a 40 year career as a computer programmer-analyst, now retired. We lived in San Angelo for 3 years, Austin for 13 years, then moved to Iowa City, Iowa in 1987 for Mike's job at the University of Iowa. I also worked at UI for 24 years. All 4 of my siblings still live in various Texas cities, so we visit Texas every year, but we love Iowa and have stayed here in retirement. | |
